The Peacemakers Project is a voluntary organisation,
setup in October 1998 and formally launched on the
6th October 2000. The project was initiated in the late
1980s by a group of people helping families to resolve
conflict and supporting children and young people to
improve their educational achievement which will, in
due course, help them grow in to responsible adults
and good citizens. The vision of the organisation is
to make peace at all levels within the community.
Peace is possible if it embraces equality, tolerance
and social justice.

The Peacemakers project is made up of a range of services that has been developed to
support disadvantaged families, young people and women, those who have dropped
out of mainstream education especially amongst the ethnic minority and white working
class youth and many others.

The organisation believes that peace is a responsibility of society in general; thus, we
have initiated several projects ranging from Home – School Mediation, Youth Support,
Learning Disabilities support, Women and Children Inclusion, Bradford Women against
Domestic Violence.

The Peacemakers projects target the home and the school because: TROUBLED HOME -> TROUBLED SCHOOL -> TROUBLED COMMUNITIES Our service is non-judgemental. We are commited to confidentiality and devoted to equal opportunities policy.
